Prelude is operated by DADESIGN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. This policy explains how Prelude collects and uses information to provide account creation, profile discovery, matching, messaging, voice notes, Verify Me, Travel Mode, AI features, subscriptions, safety, and support.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

We use this information to create and maintain accounts, show profiles, rank and filter discovery results, enable swipes and matches, deliver chats and voice notes, provide Verify Me, operate Travel Mode, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose bugs, improve performance, and provide support.

AI features may process profile information, onboarding answers, chat context, and compatibility signals to generate dating assistance, reply suggestions, scorecards, and fake-profile interactions. AI output can be imperfect, and you choose what to send or rely on.

App Permissions

You can control many permissions in your device settings. Some app features may not work if the permission needed for that feature is disabled.

Sharing and Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Prelude, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, payment, diagnostics, and app-store services. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Prelude.

Google Play may process subscription and payment information when you buy or manage a subscription through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment methods, receipts, renewals, cancellations, and related store account information according to Google's policies.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Prelude account in the app from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account clears local app state and deletes or anonymises account data such as profile information, photos, swipes, matches, messages, voice notes, verification state, discovery preferences, AI onboarding answers, AI Coach or reply-suggestion history where stored, and related dating activity.

If you cannot access the app, or prefer to request deletion by email, you can email support@joinprelude.app from the email address linked to your Prelude account with the subject line “Delete my Prelude account”. We may ask you to confirm account ownership before processing the request.

We process account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe after verification. We may keep limited records where required for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, safety, abuse, moderation, dispute, or compliance reasons. Where we retain such records, we limit them to what is needed for that purpose.

Security and Retention

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect Prelude accounts and data. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to limit access, reduce unnecessary data, and protect sensitive app activity.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Prelude, meet legal or safety requirements, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and support account deletion or anonymisation requests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Prelude changes or as legal, store, and safety requirements evolve. The latest version will be available on this page with the latest update date.
